A New Hampshire Avenue woman has been charged after police said she set up a beer-pong table for a party at her home where minors were drinking alcohol last week.
Maria Flores, 41, who police said admitted setting up beer pong, was issued a misdemeanor summons for permitting minors to possess alcohol and breach of peace in connection with the Thursday night incident.
Officers went to the house around 10:30 p.m. after getting complaints about a loud party where minors appeared to be drinking alcohol. When officers arrived, they could hear loud music, and when partyers spotted police, many took off running in different directions, according to the report.
Some were playing beer pong in the back yard, police said.
One teen was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport treatment of intoxication and the rest were sent home with their parents.
Flores was released on a promise to appear July 21 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
