Repair of Penfield Pavilion is a done deal. We never really had a choice.
The townspeople got through the entire summer without the pavilion, and we all survived. Do we really need and can we afford pavilion repairs? Your taxes are going up again next year, and pavilion repairs will make them go up even more.
I would like to say, "People of Fairfield, speak up," but I guess that wouldn't make any difference either.
Some of the same people who were on the first planning committee are on the new committee ti decide how we go forward with this new project.
Can we expect anything different?
