Matzoh ball soup, brisket and macaroons may be on everyone's tried-and-true Passover menu, but sometimes you just want to shake things up a bit.
With perfect timing, Westporter Liz Rueven joined three other food bloggers to create, "4 Bloggers Dish: Passover -- Modern Twists on Traditional Flavors."
Rueven is the editor of Kosher Like Me, a blog rich with recipes, interviews, photos and reviews of kosher food.
Over eight weeks, she collaborated with Whitney Fisch of Jewhungry, Sarah Lasry of The Patchke Princess and Amy Kritzer of What Jew Wanna Eat, in producing the cookbook, which has more than 50 kosher recipes for Passover.
To get your mouth watering, some of the recipes include: Balsamic Braised Short Ribs, Matzah Brie Caprese, Spaghetti Squash with Quinoa Meatballs, Sauteed Kale, Tomato, and Mushroom Quiche with a Hash Brown Crust, and Cinnamon Donut Balls.
