A Bridgeport man was charged last week with burglarizing a Brooklawn Avenue home.
The home's residents returned around 6 p.m. that day after being gone for about an hour and a half. They found the house had been ransacked and jewelry, a cell phone and an iPad were taken, police said. The back door had been unlocked, according to the report.
The police investigation, which included calls made on the stolen cell phone, led police to Milton, who was charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.
His bond was set at $25,000 bond and he was arraigned later that day.
