FAIRFIELD — A 76-year-old Hulls Highway resident was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police got a call about a Honda CRV that was “all over the road” on Duck Farm Road Saturday evening.
The caller was able to get the registration plate number and police found Joan Cosenza as she was pulling into her driveway. According to the report, police had to put her car in park because she was unable to, and she was drinking a cup of wine while talking to officers. Cosenza failed field sobriety tests and refused to submit to a breath test.
She was released on a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport Dec. 18.
Police said Cosenza was charged with a DUI by Weston police in 2008.
