The hectic holidays are over and the polar vortex seems to have gone back to whence it came, so venture forth and sample some of these events going on in Fairfield this weekend:
Friday night features the musical duo, "Birds Over Arkansas," in a benefit concert at 6:30 p.m. in First Church Congregational at Beach and Old Post roads.
