Harbor Yard Sports and Entertainment, LLC announced Thursday that Notre Dame-Fairfield is hosting three days of high school sports at Webster Bank Arena.
The Lancers boys and girls hockey teams will play a doubleheader on Jan. 9. The boys face rival Fairfield Prep, the defending state champs, at 7, while the girls play Lauralton Hall at 4:45 pm.
A basketball doubleheader against Bunnell takes place Jan. 27. The Notre Dame boys team plays the Bulldogs at 7, while the girls play at 5:30 p.m.
On Feb. 22, the Notre Dame boys hockey team plays Darien at 1 p.m.
Tickets are available for $10 at the Arena's Click It Or Ticket Box office or $8 through each of the schools.
"Webster Bank Arena is a great venue for these games," said James Olayos, Director of Athletic Advancement at Notre Dame of Fairfield. "This will be a springboard for more games at the arena."
Howard Saffan, president of Harbor Yard Sports and Entertainment, which manages Webster Bank Arena, said the games continue the arena's commitment to high school sports.
"High school sports have a home at Webster Bank Arena and we're thrilled to host Notre Dame of Fairfield, one of the most respected sports program in the state," Saffan said.
