4th annual Falcon
5K Alumni Run
The fourth annual Falcon 5K Alumni Run has been scheduled for Aug. 20 at the Taft Field track at Fairfield Ludlowe High School at 7 p.m., with registration at 6:30.
This is a race for Ludlowe cross country runners as well as for former Falcons' runners and those who competed for Fairfield High School's cross country teams.
The alumni run has its roots from a casual race for high school runners and alumni dating back to Roger Ludlowe High School before its consolidation with Andrew Warde High. The Fairfield Ludlowe Cross Country Parents Booster Group rekindled this tradition in 2011. The race is the official time trial for the Falcons' 2014 team this fall.
The race will be run on the Ludlowe cross country course, featuring Sturges Hill, around and through the Ludlowe campus. There will be water, pizza and refreshments as wall as drawings for prizes. Read Full Article
