Through a scouts' eyes
A look at what two NBA scouts are saying about Shabazz Napier, who is projected to go in the latter half of the first round:
"I've always liked him. ... He's been quite a warrior. ... He's someone that has made (teams) take notice and evaluate him because of what he's done. ... No way, not even close (would he have gone in the first round last year). He would have been a mid-second round pick at best if he was even drafted. ... When you watched him any length of time, whenever his team needed a basket, he got it. ... He might not be a starter in the NBA, but he's going to make a nice living in this league."
A look at what two NBA scouts are saying about DeAndre Daniels, who seems destined for the second round:
"I don't like him. I mean what position is he going to play in the NBA? ... He definitely has a chance. If you had asked me (about Daniels being drafted) during the season, I would have definitely said no. But he almost seemed like a different player to me (in the NCAA tournament). ... He's going to have to keep working hard. He has to get stronger, add 5-10 pounds of muscle."
