Swaller hoops

academy in July

The Ryan Swaller Basketball Academy will run July 7-11 from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost of the camp is $160. The camp will be held at Fairfield Warde High School. The camp will focus on individual skills along with team concepts. The camp is open to grades 4-9 (entering High School).

Girls lacrosse clinic

at Warde Saturday

The Fairfield Warde high school girls lacrosse team will be conducting a clinic for girls in grades three through eight on Saturday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Tetreau-Davis Field at Warde.

LL softball

registration closing

Registration for Fairfield Little League Girls Softball's T-Ball and A Ball programs is still open but will close on Sunday.

The spring season runs from late April through mid-June. Registration costs $110 and includes team uniforms. Registration is available at fllgs.org or by email through info@fllgs.org for more information.

Women's golf

meeting Tuesday

The Fairfield Women's Nine-Hole Golf League will conduct its annual spring meeting at the H. Smith Richardson golf course club house on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

There are two branches of the nine-hole league: the South Pine Creek/par 3 league, which plays on Monday mornings, and the H. Smith Richardson league, which tees off on Tuesday mornings.

Women from Fairfield and surrounding communities are invited to join either or both groups.

The season includes medal play as well as tournaments and shotgun scrambles.
